Sea-Horse cottage beach front on Bay of Fundy

Sea-Horse Cottage, in Tennecape, Nova Scotia, lives up to the promise of its name, not only giving stunning views of the ocean but also of the dozen or so Norwegian Fjord horses that wander the meadows that surround your dwelling...and you don't even have to get out of your king-size bed to see all this! Here, overlooking the Bay of Fundy, the world's highest tides are a few minutes walk from your doorstep. You can literally pack a picnic and lunch on the ocean's bottom at low tide, then watch as the tide covers your tracks in 50 feet of water. This is heralded by the so-called “tidal bore”, a wave caused by the moon's gravity sucking billions of gallons of water into the funnel shaped upper regions of the bay.  This cottage is located on a 5 acre farmstead and has 1 bedroom with king size bed, 1 bathroom, wooden floors, a wood stove for the colder days, kitchen and panoramic views of the ocean. Commune with the horses , ( Norwegian Fjords) watch the new born foals play and soak up the healthy ocean air ! Available for winter rental November- June Only
