Should you be an outdoor person there is our wonderful 2 km long Crescent Beach and Risser’s Beach, and boardwalk, are just a 12 minute drive away. Before heading out on your beach excursion, don’t forget to stop off at the LaHave Bakery just 5 minutes away. They offer baked goods and sandwiches, along with a variety of other mouth-watering goodies. Other unique towns to visit are Mahone Bay (35 minute drive), Lunenburg (20 minute drive via the cable ferry just 5 minutes from the Old Pentz Schoolhouse) and Bridgewater (15 minutes drive).
